We didn’t communicate that much, me and Fred,

He was the made big boss with a title; nuf said,

We won’t communicate any more, ‘cause he’s dead,

Went to the funeral home that day but not much said.

I knew him for at least twenty-seven years,

When we were equal then and enjoyed a few beers,

Till he got promoted with rank behind the office door,

The inner sanctum of power; need I say more?

He loved his rank and title way too much,

Like he was better than you or me and out of touch,

Made life miserable for those he didn’t like,

They’re relieved now he’s dead and gone for the hike.

Thirty-year old picture in obituary section,

When we were all young then; it takes some reflection,

Back to the time when we were all kind of equal,

I don’t have the time to tell you the sequel.

Why can’t Canadians have binding referendums like the Swiss?

Could our Charter of Rights system be more than a little remiss?

Why is death by abortion allowed but death by pill forbidden?

Did Sue Rodriguez’s forbidden death have to remain hidden?

Why can’t we have death with dignity like in some US states?

Is it so forbidden to the point where we can’t even debate?

Could we have a plebiscite on the issue of death with dignity

Why would our abortion aristocrats oppose this chivalry?

Why not proportional representation and mandatory votes?

Or do they consider this proposition much more than morose?

What can we do about the many forthcoming injection sites?

Why would our aristocrats want to appease such addict delights?

Controversy is frowned upon by secret-list appointees,

You have to learn to obey them, bow your head and say please,

No referendums, death with dignity or death sentence allowed,

But abortion clinics and injection sites; plentiful, so feel proud.

If we had euthanasia, we could pick a date and time to die,

But the unborn babies at the abortion clinics can’t defy,

They told Sue Rodriguez that euthanasia was not allowed,

Media moguls, aristocrats and feminists seem to feel proud.

How can people feel proud about putting unborn babies to death?

Little boys and girls before they have even taken their first breath,

Does anyone feel ashamed about this fetus holocaust?

How did we get to this holocaust stage and no one show disgust?

How many drug-addict injection sites will they allow?

Have we all gone completely nuts, here and now and how?

Stephen Harper: you are the best prime minister we’ve had in years,

And now that you have a majority; time to get rid of my fears,

Get binding referendums and death with dignity please,

Help us with the notwithstanding clause so we don’t go on our knees.

Our left-wing media types will love the three injection sites,

But we the people ourselves don’t seem to have many rights,

And the drug-addicts activists are going to change the laws,

With the help of the Supreme Court so we wont see any flaws.

Because less than half Canadians even bother to vote,

So our three injection sites will be close by -- not remote,

And those who might object, cannot be seen or even heard,

But our many abortion killing clinics are okay said the nerd.

We need euthanasia, binding referendums and mandatory votes,

And those who don’t vote, pay a twenty-dollar fine, so please note,

We need someone to read the notwithstanding clause and see what it means,

Because many free drug-addict injection sites could be mean.

Then add whorehouses and gambling casinos for cynics,

Maybe erected next to or beside the abortion clinics,

And the aristocrats in Ottawa say we don’t need changes,

But they seem to listen to the drug-addict activist’s rages.

Could we have recall to get rid of stupid drunken politicians?

And find someone normal to take their lofty positions,

Could we have plebiscites to help our democracy?

Or will we forever submit to injection-site autocracy?

Why have we forgotten about the notwithstanding clause?

It’s part of our Constitution and therefore has probable cause,

Politicians were worried about power of the Supreme Court,

Has it come about that the Provinces may have come up short?

Because the Supreme Court legalized all abortion clinics,

Where unborn babies are killed in unknown numbers by cynics,

Why was Sue Rodriguez forbidden permission to die without pain?

Canadians can’t have euthanasia in the Supreme Court campaign.

Are drug-addict injection sites going to appear here and there?

Does democracy or referendums play in these affairs?

Who is giving permission for whorehouses and casinos and more?

If some lawyer declared the notwithstanding clause, could we score?
