I'd like to arrange the place, the time and the date when I will die,
Which politicians, priests and media moguls flatly deny,
Party politicians are not allowed an independent thought,
Therefore death with dignity is something they have not bought.
And priests, ministers and bishops don't like this kind of talk,
They don't want to be involved and will grab their vestments and walk,
Therefore you don't read or hear about this, anywhere but here,
They would prefer that you go away and just disappear.
If the Swiss have it and the State of Oregon has it; why not us?
Is it possible for some of our politicians to kick up a fuss?
Oh I forgot; our politicians have all been told,
No independent thoughts, can't step out of line and can't be bold.
