NO NOTWITHSTANDING CLAUSE MAY 1ST, 2012

It’s obvious we have lost control of our upper echelon,
Until notwithstanding-clause action or referendums come along,
And if it doesn’t we will be knee deep in injection sites,
Tourists may come from miles around just to see the strange sights.
Because drug addicts will be busy going for their free needles,
After they have bought their drugs from busy drug-dealing people,
These injection sites should be great for their illegal business,
And now they also want free drugs and criminal forgiveness.
And we may be getting whorehouses and many casinos too,
But we’re not even bothered, seldom vote and who even knew?
We need the notwithstanding clause or binding referendums soon,
Or we may end up living in one of their very strange communes.
Where criminal drug addicts will be treated with great respect,
If they have to pay for their drugs; it’s the least they can expect,
With three or more injection sites and maybe more on the way,
All thanks to their activists, judges and politicians today.
