WE’LL GIVE THEM OUR REGARDS … JUNE 17TH, 2014

Binding referendums, compulsory voting and recall,

Could eliminate the need for a political brawl,

Because, as it stands, less than half of us even vote,

Though elected party politicians sometimes gloat.

You can’t change the fact that you will eventually die,

But even you might eventually change the reason why,

If politicians and judges eventually change their minds,

And get up to date; it’s amazing what we might find.

The Province of Quebec has death-with-dignity now,

But so far, no other provinces have been even allowed,

So we have to wait and see what’s in the cards,

And if and when they change, we’ll give them our regards.
