STEPHEN HARPER NEEDS ADVICE JAN 31ST, 2012
BY
Prime Minister Stephen Harper, please bring about some change,
Or you might follow in the footsteps of Joe Clark and why is that strange?
And your memory will be like his two hundred days in power,
And that was one very strange Ottawa ivory tower.
There is a date somewhere in our future when you and I will die,
There’s nothing we can do about this and I don’t know why,
Because death with dignity is not allowed in our great land,
Like we all march to the appointed secret-list Supreme Court band.
That and binding referendums we certainly could use and need,
And you wont even know unless this poem you happen to read,
You’ve been lucky and you’re lucky again because this advice is free,
The results may be stamped in our memories like a royal decree.
