NOTWITHSTANDING CLAUSE 3 Apr 25th, 2012
BY
Section
thirty-three of the Charter is our last resort,
The notwithstanding clause, to help provinces from coming up short,
Could
it override the Supreme Court decision on injection sites?
Does
anyone know anything or care about these legal fights?
Are
our politicians too busy to use the notwithstanding clause?
Will
we have three or more injection sites just because?
Will
the injection sites be open twenty-four hours a day?
How
many people will be employed there and how much do they get paid?
Do
you know why the notwithstanding clause was written for us?
Has
that event already occurred and no one made a fuss?
If
they already get free clean needles, will they soon get free drugs?
Are
these people with illegal drugs, criminals or thugs?
