POLITICAL FREETHOUGHT … JULY 1ST, 2014

Quebec has it; five US States have it but we don't have it yet,

Ottawa will not allow us medically assisted death,

Though I know and you know that eventually it may come,

But why are we still treated like some homeless bums?

Because Ottawa is up north somewhere very far away,

Where politicians and appointees go and want to stay,

Where political parties like old time religions seem to thrive,

Where medically assisted death is forbidden by appointees up high.

Is it the various political parties that will not allow free thought?

And disciplined politicians have all been bought and told and taught?

We need independent politicians, binding referendums and more,

Change Trudeau's Charter accordingly and we will all score.
